Tyn-Y-Berth Mountain Centre
|
Background
As part of Lewisham's education provision, we provide residential outdoor peducation, field studies and adventure activities courses for primary, secondary and adult groups. The centre stands in it's own grounds on the edge of the tiny village of Cornis Uchaf at the southern end of the stunningly beautiful Snowdonia National Park in North Wales.
The highly qualified team of mountain leaders are able to facilitate the needs of most schools and groups. Centre staff will manage and take responsibility for the daytime activities. School staff will take responsibility for evenings and nightime activities unless previously arranged e.g night walks, camps and lectures etc. The centre has a wealth of learning materials for schools to use.
