The OoSHL (Study Support) Service works with schools and the community to provide a growing range of extending, enabling and enriching activities for children and young people.
The directory contains information about external organisations and individuals who are able to offer a valuable contribution to pupils' learning outside of school hours. Its purpose is to encourage partnerships between schools and community groups and the groups or individuals, contained within. It has been put together with the collaboration of Tower Hamlets Summer /Junior University.
All the groups and individuals listed in the directory have been quality assured by the OoSHL (Study Support) Service and have a proven record of working successfully with schools and/or community providers of study support .
All are required to provide our service with proof of Criminal Record Bureau (CRB) disclosure for their staff who have contact with young people. Nevertheless we strongly recommend that schools and other centres request to see the CRB Enhanced Disclosure for all tutors/adults working with them.
